Some things die and some evolve...

Well this is me updating about once a month and I'm sorry for that, but this is why I built my site in html. Easy to navigate for the viewer and easier to update for the designer.

I'm realizing that my circle of friends is getting smaller, which is what it is I guess. I'm not one of those people that's good at being consistent and that tends to wear on peoples nerves. I miss my true friends, alive or not. People always say when you grow older, you move on from your childhood friends. However, the reality is you get older and appreciate the people who appreciated you for who you were, not for who they could make you or the one part of you they think/thought was cool for as long as they thought that. At the same time, we all grow old and have lives. A lot of the people I use to party with, have families now. Such is life...

Garutachi Designs is no longer, we've moved on to a new name and as soon as all that is final we'll let you in on it. There are seven of us know and I'm really excited about where things are headed. Ebony Bed has two songs and two more coming. What I've heard I like a lot, I've already started story boarding one concept, but as usual time is a factor. Candice will soon be releasing a new AlonA EP, how do I know? I'm working on the design. :) That will most likely be my next visible project. I'm also working on getting the EB page up running and collecting fans. Kyle and I have meet and approved the MPC that I built (will finish building in Flash) and the ideas for his site. I also know that the new Panacea is going to be BANANAS.

That's really about it. I need to add some stuff to my site, but other then that you have the news. I'm actually looking into leaving the DC/MD/VA area (no time extremely soon). Yeah, leave the bombshell for the end, right? Call it a cliffhanger to get you to come back and check out my site...

Thanks for your encouragement and support (those who do it honestly).

A thank you to those who get it...

I haven't forgotten anything and will be making updates soon, but I want to send a shout out to everyone who has been patient with all that has been going on with me lately. My real job has had me on a bit of a bender for the past couple of weeks, busting out multiple projects at once, and having to pick it up again when I get home in the evenings. It's tough and most people don't get it; the concept of "having a creative career like mine" is sometimes a little over their head. Either way, I'm trying... I'm tired, I'm stressed, and I'm really swimming in it more days then not. I will say that all of this has created a little creativity. It's like Sting use to say about The Police, some of their best music was made when they were getting along the worst.

I am also wrapped up in a big life change that I think is going to affect a lot of things in my life, especially my career path and professionalism. My life and my career are very important to me; there is no room for preventable distractions at this time. I'm about to enter into a new phase of my career which will require a big investment of time and money. I am a little nervous and apprehensive as this step could make me or break me but if you don’t take a chance, you will never move forward to accomplish your goals.

In any case, it is my plan to get some new work posted soon. I need to get a new battery for my camera, and then look out as I will be getting back on track. Thanks for your encouragement and support.
